Urologist Needed in Cottonwood, AZ | 24-Hour Call | Robotics Available | 2 Openings

Job description

This is a 24-hour, call-only, hospital-based urology opportunity at a 99-bed acute care hospital (adult trauma level IV) in Cottonwood, Arizona, with coverage dates spanning July through December (24-hour call only starting in August) over an assignment of approximately 13 weeks. There are two openings. Average callback is 2-6 hours per day, with about three to four OR cases per week. Robotics are available but not required, and disposable flexible cystoscopes are available. Credentialing runs approximately 30 days, includes a phone interview with the department, and requires roughly four hours of remote Cerner training before starting. Travel reimbursement is available.

Required procedures include ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy, with TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy preferred. Documentation is in Cerner.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology, with an Arizona license or IMLC LOQ, a DEA, a minimum of one year of experience, and recent case logs.
