Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for an ongoing locum assignment in California, starting February 9, 2026. This role offers a balanced mix of clinic and call coverage with a flexible schedule and excellent support staff in place.

Clinic + Call Schedule – Full-time weekday coverage with 7–10 call days per month
Diverse Case Mix – General and advanced urologic procedures including laparoscopic surgeries, nephrectomies, and prostatectomies
Ongoing Opportunity – Flexible scheduling available through the remainder of 2026
Position Details:
Start Date: February 9, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8 AM–5 PM (hours may vary)
Friday: 7:30 AM–5 PM (hours may vary)
Call: 7–10 days/month (includes weekend 24-hour call)
Confirmed Dates: 2/9–2/16/2026, 5/4–5/11/2026; flexible 1 week/month thereafter
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Patients per Shift: 16+
Trauma Level: III
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Yes
Beds in Department: 6
Skills & Procedures:
General adult urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, and nephrectomy.
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
License: Active California License (required)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based clinical practice
Certifications: Active Fluoro and ACLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
