Urology Locums – California - 24 hr call coverage starting ASAP

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for long-term locums coverage at a Level I Trauma Center in California. This role requires comfort with high-acuity urologic emergencies in a fast-paced trauma environment.

Assignment Overview
- Specialty: Urology
- Location: California
- Start Date: ASAP! Feb 2026
- Coverage Type: 24-hour call
- Preferred Availability: Ability to cover 7-day stretches or longer
- Coverage Status: Ongoing

Schedule & Call:
- Shift Type: 24-hour call
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (overnight call)

Practice Setting:
- Inpatient only
- Level I Trauma Center
- EMR: Cerner

Clinical Volume & Support
- Patients per shift: 2–3
- Providers Needed: 1

Clinical Requirements:
- Must be comfortable taking urology ER call in a trauma center
- Proficient in managing a wide range of urgent and emergent urologic procedures
- Robotic training strongly preferred

Requirements
- Board Certification required
- Active California medical license
- PALS certification required
