Facility:
This is a fully functioning trauma level III hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and emergency department services. The facility is well-equipped with onsite lab, X-ray, RNs, APPs, and anesthesia support staff, providing an excellent environment for locum providers.

Job Details:

• Locum Urologist needed to support weekend trauma call coverage every Friday (7a) - Monday (7a)
• Inpatient and Emergency Department setting
• Practice breakdown is 95% Adult and 5% Pediatric urology
• Average of 20% ED patients with approximately 4-5 callback hours per 24-hour shift, with a high of 8 hours onsite
• Required procedures include: General Urology (Adult and Pediatric), advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound (with biopsy), TRUS biopsies, and incontinence management
• EMR: EPIC - training required prior to first day; available Tuesdays or Fridays at 8a MT only, no test-out option
• Active Colorado license or active IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of name clear) required
• Board Certification in Urology required
• Active BLS and DEA required for credentialing
• Clean malpractice and background history required
• Candidates must be willing to cover the full Friday (7a) - Monday (7a) stretch with no exceptions
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
• Travel reimbursements available for flights (economy), lodging (up to $150/night before taxes and fees), car rental (economy), and mileage at IRS standard rate
• Local and drive-in candidates are highly preferred
