About the clinician's workday

This locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for inpatient urological services at an on-site health system facility, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM and approximately 2-4 callback hours anticipated per shift inclusive of rounding. Coverage responsibilities include managing emergent surgeries, emergency room consults, and rounding on urology patients. The scope of practice is limited to general urological cases; no advanced procedures are required, and no clinic responsibilities are included in this assignment. Board certification in Urology, an active state medical license, an active DEA registration, and a clean NPDB record are required for consideration.
