Urology Locums Opportunity in Illinois

Job description

Facility: 3-hospital health system
City/State: Illinois (primarily IL with split IL/IA license requirement)
Specialty: Urology (Double licensed: IL active & IA active or in-process)
Job Setting: Inpatient, TRAUMA/Acute care (24-hr call; primarily 12-hr day shifts)
Coverage Needed: 5–10 shifts/month (we can send candidates offering 7–10/month)
Schedule: ~12-hr day shifts; 1 half-day clinic/week + 24-hr call
Call: 24-hr call (minimal volume; mostly day shifts)
Candidates Typical Day: 12-hr day shift (OR/consults/clinic), 24-hr call occasionally, half-day clinic weekly

Clinician Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible – Specialty Required: BC/BE Acceptable – Urology
Residency/Fellowship: Completed Urology residency
Years of experience: Preferably 1+ year post-training
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (PALS optional)
License: Active IL license required; IA license active or in-process
Procedures Required: Routine urology procedures and cystoscopy
Types of Cases: Urology – acute/trauma consults, clinic, 24-hr call
Minimum Availability: 5–10 shifts/month
