Job description

A Missouri healthcare system is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist for ongoing emergency department call coverage at adult community hospitals in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Opportunity Details
Specialty: Urology
Practice Setting: Adult community hospitals / emergency department call
Coverage Type: Call coverage only
Start Date: As soon as possible; date to be determined
Schedule: Approximately 5–7 24-hour call shifts per month
Primarily weekend coverage, with some variation
Provider will cover 1–2 hospitals at a time and will know the assigned hospitals in advance
Response Time: 30 minutes for emergency call-backs
Estimated Call Volume: Approximately 20–30 calls per shift; not all require on-site presence
EMR: Epic
Patient Population: Adults
Support: MD support available

Requirements
Board certification or eligibility in Urology
Missouri and Illinois medical licenses required
IMLC candidates will be considered, but the provider must obtain both Missouri and Illinois licenses
BLS certification required
Active, unrestricted license and clean professional history preferred
