Opportunity Overview – Urology Locums

Location: Richmond, IN
Duration: Ongoing per diem
Reason for Coverage: Ongoing need
Schedule: Per diem
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
Call: Yes, 24/7 hospital and ER coverage with inpatient rounding
Scope: General urology with a mix of inpatient consults and procedures. Must be comfortable with all general urology cases and difficult catheterizations. Providers perform a variety of treatment and laparoscopic surgical procedures addressing kidney, bladder, urethra, ureter, male/female, and pediatric urology. Focus on minimally invasive approaches whenever possible
Hospital: Level III Trauma Center | 261 beds
Group/Support: 100% MDA model, no CRNAs
EMR: Epic

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of training)
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Up to 2 malpractice cases acceptable within last 10 years (must include state, amount, and settlement year)
Indiana license or Compact license (active or eligible)
Must obtain IN CSR in conjunction with full license if compact route is used
