This facility is a well-established healthcare organization serving the Upper Peninsula community with comprehensive urological services. The facility features a 25-bed department, a dedicated clinic space for the Urologist, and a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite, providing cutting-edge surgical capabilities and strong provider support.

Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for long-term locum tenens coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment preferred
• 2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible scheduling; August 2026 start preferred
• Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts; typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am - 5pm
• No call coverage required
• Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Da Vinci Xi Robot available onsite for robotic surgical procedures
• General Urology (Adult required, Pediatric preferred) skills required
• Laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy required
• Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required
• TRUS biopsies and fertility work-up required
• Nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and incontinence procedures preferred
• Robotic surgery preferred
• Active Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
• Must be licensed in MI or hold an IMLC license
• ACLS certification required
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship in Urology required
• At least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months required, reflective of the scope of privileges requested
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days
