Facility:
This facility is a Level 3 trauma center serving the Upper Peninsula community with a 25-bed department and dedicated clinic space ready for urological services. The facility features a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite and offers lodging accommodations for providers when available during scheduled shifts.

Board Certified/Board Eligible - Urology

Job Details:

• Long-term locum tenens coverage seeking a 1-year or longer commitment
• 2 week on/2 week off rotation with August 2026 start preferred
• Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts
• Typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am - 5pm
• No call coverage required
• Up to 20 patient encounters per shift
• Active Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required
• Current certification or board eligible through the American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery required
• At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested during the past 12 months, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months required
• ACLS certification required
• General Urology (Adult) required
• Laparoscopic surgeries required
• Ureteroscopy required
• Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required
• TRUS biopsies required
• Fertility work-up required
