This facility is a well-established medical center serving the Upper Peninsula community, featuring a 25-bed department equipped with advanced surgical technology including a Da Vinci Xi Robot onsite. The facility provides a fully prepared clinic space and offers lodging accommodations for providers during scheduled shifts.

Board Certification Eligible - Urology

Job Details:

• Long-term locum tenens coverage seeking a 1 year or longer commitment
• 2 week on / 2 week off rotation with flexible scheduling; ideal start date December 2026
• Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts, 8am - 5pm; typical schedule consists of 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week
• No call coverage required
• Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Active Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
• ACLS certification required
• Current board certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery required
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required
• At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested within the past 12 months, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months
• General adult urology skills required
• Laparoscopic surgeries required
• Ureteroscopy required
• Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required
• TRUS biopsies required
• Fertility work-up required
• Facility lodging available with many amenities during scheduled shifts
