Part Time Urology Coverage

Job description

Seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for an ongoing, part-time locum tenens opportunity in a lakeside community in MN. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope urology in a supportive, community-focused setting.

Position Overview:

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekdays)

Coverage Needed: Approximately 4 days per month

Typically 1 day per week or 2 days twice per month (flexible mix)

Call: None

Practice Setting:

Critical Access Hospital

Urology Clinic + Surgery

Serving a large regional population with an older demographic

Patient Volume:

Clinic: 15–20 patients per day

Surgery: 5–10 cases per day

Procedures:

Macroplastique injections

Botox injections

Stone removals

TURP / TURB

Biopsies

Open and laparoscopic procedures

No robotics on site

Support & Resources:

Dedicated clinic nurse

Experienced surgical team


Requirements:

Board Certified in Urology

Active Minnesota license or IMLC

Active DEA

Minimum 1 year of experience

ACLS & BLS preferred

Strong bedside manner and communication skills
