👥 Patient Population: Adults
Schedule & Coverage
• Approximately 5–7 24-hour call shifts per month
• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 PM
• Primarily weekend coverage, with some variation
• Provider will cover 1–2 hospitals at a time and will know the assigned hospital(s) in advance
• Call coverage only with 2 hours of gratis time
• 30-minute response time required for emergency callbacks
• Estimated call volume: 20–30 calls per shift, though not all calls require the physician to come onsite
• Ongoing coverage beginning as soon as possible
Clinical Details
• Emergency department call coverage
• General urology procedures and case types
• Support staff: MD
• Patient population: Adults
Requirements
• Urology board certification required/preferred
• BLS required
• Missouri and Illinois licensure required
• IMLC candidates will be considered, but providers must obtain both MO and IL licenses
