Facility:
This is an established and growing neuroscience program serving communities throughout southern New Jersey. The facility operates multiple outpatient neurology practice locations and works with an interdisciplinary team and an established referral network to deliver high-quality neurological care across the region.

Physician - Neurology

Job Details:

• Provide consistent weekday outpatient general neurology coverage across three practice locations: Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and Atlantic City
• Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with no inpatient coverage, night call, weekend call, or holiday coverage
• Minimum commitment of three consistent days per week required; full-time availability preferred
• Provider will be assigned to one location per day, with site rotation coordinated in advance based on patient access needs and provider availability
• See approximately 14-18 outpatient clinic patients per day, including 3-5 new patients and 10-13 follow-up patients
• Patient population is 60% adult and 40% geriatric; 100% outpatient setting
• Evaluate and manage new and established adult and geriatric general neurology patients
• Manage common neurological conditions including headache and migraine, seizure disorders, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke follow-up
• Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and outside medical records
• Order appropriate diagnostic testing and manage medications
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, APPs, specialists, and other members of the neuroscience team
• Complete documentation, patient messages, test-result review, and follow-up responsibilities in a timely manner
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology (ABPN or AOBNP) required
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain one required
• Active DEA and New Jersey CDS registration required prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• EMR platform is Cerner/Oracle Fusion
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90-120 days after receipt of a fully completed application
