Facility:
This is an established and growing neuroscience program serving communities throughout southern New Jersey. The facility operates multiple outpatient neurology practice locations and supports providers with an interdisciplinary team and a well-developed referral network.

Physician - Neurology

Job Details:

• Provide consistent weekday outpatient general neurology coverage across three locations: Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and Atlantic City
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with no inpatient coverage, night call, weekend call, or holiday coverage
• Full-time availability preferred; minimum commitment of three consistent days per week required
• Provider will be assigned to one location per day, with site rotation coordinated in advance based on patient access needs and provider availability
• Average of 14-18 outpatient clinic patients per day, including approximately 3-5 new patients and 10-13 follow-up patients
• Patient population is 60% adult and 40% geriatric; 100% outpatient setting
• Evaluate and manage new and established adult and geriatric general neurology patients
• Manage common neurological conditions including headache and migraine, seizure disorders, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke follow-up
• Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and outside medical records
• Order appropriate diagnostic testing and manage medications
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, APPs, specialists, and other members of the neuroscience team
• Complete documentation, patient messages, test-result review, and follow-up responsibilities in a timely manner
• EMR platform: Cerner/Oracle Fusion
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology required (ABPN or AOBNP)
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain one required
• Active DEA and New Jersey CDS registration required prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 90-120 days after receipt of a fully completed application
• Travel reimbursements provided including economy airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
