This 199-bed acute care teaching hospital holds a Level 3 Trauma designation and provides urological services across clinic, surgical, and inpatient settings. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and administrative support systems to facilitate effective urological care coordination throughout the assignment. Appropriate resources are in place to support clinicians managing a broad range of urological cases within this hybrid clinical environment.

The state features diverse natural landscapes and cultural experiences, including guided river excursions, opportunities to explore petroglyphs, and activities such as sifting for garnets. Clinicians on assignment will find a mix of natural landmarks and cultural destinations accessible throughout the region.

About the clinician's workday

The urologist will provide hybrid coverage Monday through Friday, alternating between half-day clinic sessions (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) and elective OR cases combined with inpatient management. Saturday and Sunday coverage is limited to inpatient services. Call coverage is required as part of this assignment. Support staff available include local urologists accessible via phone, nursing staff, a urology tech, and hospitalists.
