The facility supports both inpatient and outpatient urology services with a collaborative team that includes local urologists available via phone, nursing staff, urology technicians, and hospitalists to support provider needs.

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity seeking providers interested in both clinic and call coverage
• Monday through Friday coverage includes hybrid shifts with either half-day clinic or elective OR plus inpatient coverage
• Half-day clinic schedule runs approximately 10am-12pm, with a lunch break, followed by 1pm-3pm
• Saturday and Sunday coverage is inpatient only
• Approximately 5-10 phone consults per day
• Patient population is primarily adults with very few pediatric patients
• Both inpatient and outpatient care required
• Rounding on active consults required
• Admissions are managed by hospitalists
• General adult urology skills required
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days
• Nearest airport is El Paso International Airport
