Locum opportunity for Physician – Urology in Bismarck , ND

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Physician – Urology

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
We are seeking a Locum Urology Physician to provide clinic, call, and scheduled surgical coverage in Bismarck, ND. The assignment begins in May with ongoing coverage needs. This role supports an existing permanent provider and offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and surgical cases.

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 & 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞:
- 10–15 days per month
- Coverage includes clinic, scheduled surgeries, and call
- Weekend and night call required
- Potential transition to call-only coverage later in the assignment
- Ongoing coverage opportunity

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Outpatient urology clinic care
- Inpatient consults and post-operative rounding
- Scheduled and emergent urology surgeries
- On-call coverage including weekends and nights

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬:
- Clinic volume: 15–20 patients per day
- 2–3 in-clinic procedures daily
- 3–4 surgical cases per operative day
- Required procedures include cystoscopy and cystoscopy with dilation
- No robotic procedures

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭:
- Clinic located within the hospital
- EPIC EMR
- Supported by experienced clinical staff including RNs and a CNA

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- (Board Eligible accepted if within 5 years of residency)
- Active or eligible North Dakota medical license
- DEA registration required
- NPDB self-query report (within 30 days)
- Case logs required for review
