Facility in Altoona, PA seeking Urology locums coverage Rates: $24-Hour Call: $3500 (Monday - Thursday) with 4 hour gratis. $350/hr call-back after 4 Hours gratis (Monday - Thursday) • Fridays (7:30am - 4:30pm) - 325/hr Opportunity Highlights Consistent Schedule: We're looking for a provider to cover one full week per month, from Monday at 8 AM to Friday at 5 PM. Flexible Responsibilities: Your week will include a light daily outpatient clinic while being on 24/7 call for the service. You'll be on call for MD-level needs, while our APPs handle inpatient rounding and consultations during the day. Supportive Environment: You will not work solo. An APP/Mid-Level will be available to assist with inpatient tasks, allowing you to focus on your outpatient schedule. EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting. Privileging: The estimated time to secure full privileges is 90 days. Responsibilities Manage a light outpatient clinic schedule, seeing an average of 15-25 adult patients per day. Be available for 24/7 call throughout your scheduled week (Monday-Friday). Handle an average of 1-4 calls per night, with a 30-minute response time. Collaborate with APPs who will be rounding and conducting inpatient consults. Provider Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: Board Certified. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience. Licensure: We will accept candidates who need to obtain a Pennsylvania State License. Certifications: ACLS and DEA are required. Location: The facility is in Altoona, PA. Start Date We are looking for a provider to start as soon as possible, with an estimated start date of December 1, 2025.
