Urology Physician Locum Needed in Gettysburg, PA | No Nights + Ongoing Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at Gettysburg Pennsylvania.

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- No night or weekend call
- Daytime call responsibilities include hospital rounding, consults, and OR work
- Ongoing coverage with multiple available weeks:

Coverage Dates:
- May 26–29
- June 1–5 (daytime call coverage)
- June 8–12
- July 6–10 (2 providers needed: one for daytime call, one for clinic/OR)
- August 3–7
- Aug 31 – Sept 4
- Sept 8–11
- Sept 14–18
- Sept 28 – Oct 2

Work Details:
- Practice setting: Clinic and OR with occasional hospital consults
- Patient population: Adults only (no pediatrics)
- Patient volume: 40–70 patients per day
- EMR: EPIC
- Facility: 73-bed acute care hospital

Responsibilities:
- Clinic visits, procedures, and OR cases
- Daytime hospital rounding and consultations when on call
- Occasional addition of clinic patients during hospital coverage

Procedures:
- General Urology procedures
- Ureteroscopies and related procedures

Support Staff:
- 3 Medical Assistants
- 1 LPN
- Surgical scheduler
- Front office staff
- Practice manager

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required
- DEA required
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred (new grads accepted)

Credentialing:
- Temporary privileges available for clean files
