Urology Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Job description

A healthcare facility in Seneca, PA is seeking a Urology Physician for locum tenens coverage. This assignment offers a light procedural schedule with only one clinic day and one OR day per week, with the remainder of the assignment focused on call coverage. Emergency privileges may be available for qualified candidates.

Assignment Details:
Location: Seneca, Pennsylvania
Practice Setting: Hospital and outpatient clinic
Coverage Type: 24-hour call coverage
Schedule: 7-day call rotation, 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Operating Room Day: Monday or Tuesday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Clinic Day: Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Estimated Coverage: Up to 4 weeks/month
Privileges: Full privileges available; emergency privileges may be considered
EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities:
Bread-and-butter urology cases
90% adult / 10% pediatric patient population
Approximately 1 hour of rounding per day
APP team manages daytime consults, rounding, and routine inpatient coverage
One outpatient clinic day and one OR day per week; remaining coverage is call only

Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania medical license
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information:
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Epic experience preferred
Strong APP support provides assistance with daytime patient management
