Urologist Needed in Gettysburg, PA | Clinic + OR | No Night or Weekend Call | 3 Openings

Job description

This is a urology opportunity at a 73-bed acute care hospital in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, covering scheduled clinic, procedures, OR, and daytime hospital call - with no night or weekend call. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p (with a one-hour lunch), across specific coverage date blocks between late September and late December. When covering daytime hospital call, the work is rounding, consults, OR, and occasionally adding on to clinic, with no templated clinic time. This is an ongoing assignment of approximately 13 weeks with three openings, and travel reimbursement is available.

The setting is a recently renovated urology office (nine exam rooms and three procedure rooms, with long-tenured staff) plus OR, with no pediatrics and about 40-70 patients per day. Support includes three medical assistants, an LPN, a surgical scheduler, three front-office staff, and a practice manager. Ureteroscopies are among the special procedures, and general urology skills are required. Documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology, with an active PA license or IMLC letter of qualification in hand, a DEA, and a minimum of three years of experience (new grads will also be considered).
