Urology Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity | Altoona, Pennsylvania

A respected healthcare system in central Pennsylvania is seeking a Urology physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers a mix of light outpatient clinic responsibilities and call coverage, supported by an experienced team of APPs who assist with rounds and consultations.

Opportunity Highlights:

Immediate coverage needed:
August 31 (7:00 AM) - September 11 (7:00 AM)
September 16 (7:00 AM) - September 28 (7:00 AM)
Ongoing need for approximately one week per month thereafter
Typical schedule is Monday 8:00 AM through Friday 5:00 PM
Occasional weekend coverage may be requested following the weekday block
Light outpatient clinic volume while providing 24/7 call coverage
Advanced Practice Providers assist with daytime rounding and consults
Epic EMR

Requirements:

Active Pennsylvania medical license required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
