Position Highlights:
•Location: Dubois, PA
•Start Date: 9/8/2026
•Contract Length: 2027 ongoing
•Shift Details: 24-hour call; 7a-7a
•Schedule: Dates are below, then Jan 2027 ongoing is approx. 1 weekend per month from Thursday night call at 4 p.m. through Monday at 7 a.m. (24-hour call coverage):
October 13-14 (ending 7a Oct 15)
November 1 (ending 7a Nov 2)
November 3-4 (ending 7 a.m. Nov 5)
November 9-11(ending 7a Nov 12)
December 7-9 (ending 7a Dec 10)
December 11-13 (ending 7a Dec 14)
December 17- 20 (ending 7a December 21)
December 28 - 30 (ending 7 a.m. December 31)

Work Details:
• Support staff: Urology PA, inpatient support
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 4 – 10 per month; 24-hour call shifts
• Patients per day: variable - patients are not scheduled
• Patient population/age: Adult (18+)
• Department description: Urology
• EMR: Cerner – inpatient; GE Centricity – outpatient (to review patient records if admitted)
• Hospital bed size: 228
• Special procedures:
o Possibly cystoscopy and/or stent placement for hematuria
o Kidney stone treatment with possible extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy
o Torsion of testicle – (rare occurrence)
o UTI
o Consultation with ED or other providers for Foley Catheter placement
o Rounding if the provider performs procedure and patient is in house
• Skills required: 24-hour weekday coverage, rounding on inpatient setting in AM and possible emergency surgery if needed. This is a busy setting as PH-DuBois is the hub for outlying PH facilities: Clearfield, Elk, and Brookville.
• Practice Setting: Hospital - Level II Trauma

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required
• State license required: Yes, State of PA (Will accept IMLC)
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications required: ACLS
• Minimum experience required: prefer 1 – 2 years’ experience

• 24 hr on call
• PA license or IMLC
• Ongoing contract
