Urology Opportunity - Western Pennsylvania

Job description

• Specialty: Urology
• Schedule: 3 full weeks per month (will consider 1 week per month)
• Setting: Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient services
• Start Date: ASAP, based on credentialing
• End Date: Ongoing/unknown
• Experience: Minimum 3 years
• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Credentials: MD or DO
• Pennsylvania license: Candidates who need to obtain a PA license, IMLC will be considered
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
• EMR: Epic/Cerner

Clinical Coverage:
• Outpatient clinic services at Nesbitt Place
• Inpatient and call coverage at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson
• Provider will work at only one location per day
• Call coverage is shared between the two inpatient locations
• Weeknight call volume is generally light, averaging approximately 0–4 calls per night
• Typical call response requirement: 30 minutes
• APP support is available during daytime hours
• APPs handle daytime consults and rounding
• Approximately 20–25 patients may be scheduled per clinic day, with flexibility to discuss an appropriate volume

Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• Clinic hours: approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• 24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Approximately 21 shifts/days per month

Travel & Lodging:
Travel expenses and lodging are covered, including airfare, rental car/fuel, parking, mileage, and ground transportation as applicable.
