Locum Urologist – Gettysburg, PA
📍 Location: Gettysburg, PA
📅 Contract: Ongoing
🏥 Setting: Clinic & OR with occasional daytime hospital coverage
💻 EMR: Epic
📞 Call: No nighttime or weekend call
Schedule
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch
• Ongoing coverage needed, including approximately 6 weeks of coverage per month
• Mix of hospital rounds, OR, and clinic
• Occasional daytime hospital call while covering clinic
• No overnight or weekend responsibilities
Clinical Details
• General urology
• Minimum 14 patients per day
• New patient visits: up to 30 minutes
• Post-op visits: 15 minutes
• No pediatric patients
• Hospital daytime coverage may include:
o Rounding
o Consults
o OR cases
o Occasional add-on patients to the clinic schedule
• Special procedures include ureteroscopies
Practice & Support
• Newly renovated urology office
• 9 exam rooms
• 3 procedure rooms
• Long-tenured staff
• Support team includes:
o 3 Medical Assistants
o 1 LPN
o Surgical Scheduler
o 3 Front Office Staff
o Practice Manager
• Hospital: 73 beds
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• PA license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA required
• Epic experience in a clinic setting required
• 3+ years of experience preferred
• New graduates will be considered
• Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
