Overview:
Urology locum coverage in York, PA, mixing cysto/stent procedures with office visits, with hospital / OR work.

Schedule & Coverage:
Schedule listed as Day (1x24 Hours) 8:00–17:00. Title: MD. On Call: Yes.

Work Details:
Patient Population/Age: Over 18, with the exception of an emergency torsion that would present during call at York Hospital. Department: Mix of cysto/stent procedures with office visits, usually around 24–28 patients, could be less unless there is an urgent need, should not be more. EMR: EPIC. Practice Setting: Hospital. Robotic surgery: Yes. Scope: Yes — if that is part of their practice, not required. Number of operating rooms: 16 total — York Hospital and Apple Hill surgery. Supervision of NP/PAs required: Yes — will have new APPs. Office equipment: Cystoscope and Towers, Injections. Core procedures: Vasectomy — Yes; Vasectomy reversal — Yes, not a mandatory procedure; Cystoscopy — Yes, in OR; Prostate procedures — Yes; Ureteroscopy — Yes, in OR; Penile plication; Penile implants — Rare; Lithotripsy — Yes; Circumcision — OB manages for children, possibility on rare occasions while on call if OB would need support; Orchiopexy — Yes.

Requirements:
Board Certification: BC or BE in Urology. License Required: PA License or IMLC LOQ only. DEA: Required. Minimum Experience: 1 year.

Credentialing:
90 days, temps available with clean file.

Compensation & Travel:
2 hours gratis for 24-hour call.
