Overview:
General urology coverage in Gettysburg, PA — mix of hospital rounds, OR and clinic, with no night-time or weekend call, building a candidate pool for the future.

Schedule & Coverage:
8:00 AM–5:00 PM Mon–Fri (1-hour lunch). Mix of hospital rounds, OR and clinic. No night-time or weekend call. Contract Length: Ongoing. Title: MD. On Call: No.

Work Details:
Support Staff: 3 Medical Assistants, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff, practice manager. Patients per day: Minimum 14 per day. New patient visits 30 minutes (max), 15-minute post-ops. Patient Population/Age: No peds. Department: Urology office with newer renovation, 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms, long-tenured staff. When covering hospital daytime call it is rounding, consults, OR and occasionally adding on to clinic, but no templated time for clinic. EMR: EPIC (require EPIC experience in a clinic setting). Hospital Bed Size: 73. Special Procedures: Ureteroscopies. Skills Required: General urology. Practice Setting: Clinic (occasionally daytime hospital call to see a consult while in clinic), OR.

Requirements:
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. License Required: PA or IMLC LOQ. Active PA License or IMLC LOQ in hand required. DEA: Required. Minimum Experience: 3 years minimum.

Credentialing:
Temps with clean file.

Compensation & Travel:
2-hour gratis for 24-hour call.
