Urology Clinic and Call Coverage - Flexible 1 week a month

Job description

A well-established urology practice is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for clinic and call coverage beginning July 2026, with the potential to extend through December and beyond.

Assignment Details
Specialty: Urology
Contract Dates: July – December 2026 (option to extend)
Schedule: Monday – Friday clinic coverage
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call Schedule: 5:00 PM Friday – 8:00 AM Monday
Coverage Need: Approximately 1 week/weekend per month

Practice Setting
Outpatient practice with inpatient rounding responsibilities
Adult patients only (18+)

Patient Volume
Clinic: 20–25 patients per day
Inpatient rounding: 4–10 patients daily across both hospitals

Clinical Details
General urology coverage
Common cases include general urologic conditions and urologic cancers
No robotics required
No pediatric patients
Surgical volume varies, averaging 8–10 surgeries per week

Support Staff
3 physician partners
PA support
Medical Assistants and Medical Staff support for outpatient clinic

Requirements
Board-Certified in Urology
BLS required
ACLS required
Active Rhode Island Medical License required
Active Rhode Island DEA/CSR
