Locum Urologist – Columbia, SC | Columbia VA Health Care System

The Columbia VA Health Care System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to provide comprehensive urology care to Veterans. The physician will manage outpatient and inpatient cases, perform urologic procedures and surgeries, provide consultations and follow-up care, and participate in on-call coverage.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with approximately 7 call days per month, including one weekend.
Compensation: $298/hour, plus $30/hour for call and $298/hour for callback.
Requirements: Active unrestricted U.S. medical license, DEA, BLS/ACLS, Board Certification/Eligibility, and ability to obtain VA privileges.

The role includes approximately 18–20 clinic patients per day and an average of 3–5 procedures per surgical session, covering conditions such as kidney stones, BPH, elevated PSA, hematuria, urinary retention, and urologic cancers.

• Base compensation of $298/hour, with $30/hour for call and $298/hour for callback.
• Regular clinic hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with approximately 7 call days per month, including one weekend.
