Urology – Salem, VA
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Coverage: 24-hour Hospital/ED call shifts with call back requirements
Shift Options: 7a–6:30p or 7a–7a
Response Time: 20 minutes

Practice Setting:
• 500-bed hospital
• Main transfer facility for Southwest Virginia
• Supporting Level II Trauma program
• Not a low-volume site – busy service
• Typically called in 2–5 hours during a 24-hour period
• Hotel/Beeper call with in-person response required

Clinical Details:
• Adult patient population
• Average daily patient volume: 28
• General Urology – high volume kidney stones
• Robotic program – 3 Da Vinci XIs
• Bread-and-butter urology cases
• EMR: eCW and Meditech
• Nursing staff support

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required
• Active State License
• DEA required
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• 200 cases within the last 2 years – case logs required at submission

This is an excellent opportunity for a Urologist looking for high-acuity, busy call coverage at a major regional referral center.
