Position Overview

Start: ASAP
No IMLC at this time
Hospital + clinic privileges required
Dual-site coverage: Medical Center + Urology Clinic (1 mile apart)
EMR: Epic
Adult population
Approx. 18 patients/day

Practice Setting

Inpatient and Outpatient Urology
Hospital bed size: 122
Solo practice capability required (APP may work independently)

Clinical Responsibilities

Full-spectrum general urology care
Diagnosis and treatment of:
Erectile dysfunction
Kidney stones
Male incontinence
Yearly medication refills and ongoing management
Surgical assist duties in OR
Cystoscopy and standard urologic procedures
Post-operative and inpatient urology management

Procedures Required

Cystoscopy
Catheter placement
Ureteroscopy and stent placement
TURP
TURBT
Prostate biopsy
Lithotripsy (ESWL)
Circumcision
Orchiopexy
Hydrocelectomy
Spermatocelectomy
Litholapaxy
PVP and related endoscopic procedures

Call Requirements

7 days of unrestricted 24-hour call per month (1:2 weekend call structure)
Clinic + call combination expected during call weeks
Schedule structured to balance clinic, OR, and call responsibilities
Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Schedule Model

Approx. 2 FTE need
Typical rotation:
3 clinic days + 1 OR day + 7-day call week (with admin day for rest)
Or 4 clinic days + 1 OR day when not on call week

Requirements

NP preferred (ability to practice without supervising physician preferred)
BLS and ACLS required
Washington State license required at time of submission
Must provide surgical case logs (100+ urology procedures in last 24 months)
Strong independent clinical and procedural urology experience required
