This well-established medical center serves the greater Kitsap Peninsula region and offers a comprehensive range of surgical and clinical services. The facility features a fully equipped OR with robotic surgery capabilities onsite, a supportive hospitalist team, and dedicated clinical staff including RNs, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.

Physician - Urology

Job Details:

  • Seeking a general/bread and butter Urologist for clinic and call coverage for up to 12 months with a minimum commitment of 3 months
  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Night call: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM; 24-hour call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM at a 1:6 ratio
  • Minimum of 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month required
  • Provider will serve as the sole provider in a fast-paced, high-volume department
  • Patient volume of 20-25 patients per day in clinic; 20-30 surgical cases per month
  • Call volume breakdown: 20% new consults, 80% established patients returning to the ED
  • Duties include general urology care in both clinic and on-call settings
  • Required procedures include: Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections
  • Robotic surgery available onsite; robotic procedures not required
  • Provider will be responsible for rounding; hospitalist team is present for admissions
  • EMR system: Epic
  • Support staff includes 2 RNs, Medical Assistant, Surgery Scheduler, and 2 front office staff
  • Clinic manager will provide a tour and orientation prior to start date
  • Must be able to cover weekend call either before or after the first week to allow for acclimation
  • Candidates must be collegial team players with strong patient and customer service skills
  • Board Certified (highly preferred) or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion)
  • Active Washington State license highly preferred; IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission will be considered
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and DEA
  • Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3 months
  • Candidates must be able to cover approximately 80% of scheduled dates and must provide specific available and blackout dates through February 2026

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
