Locum Urologist Opportunity (MD/DO)

Aya is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to provide ongoing locum coverage in a busy hospital and outpatient clinic setting. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of clinic, operating room, inpatient consults, and call responsibilities while working independently.

Position Highlights:
ASAP start
Ongoing assignment
Hospital and clinic coverage
Inpatient and outpatient practice
Approximately 18 patients per day
Solo provider coverage
One week (7 days) of unrestricted 24-hour beeper call each month
Low overnight call volume with an average of 0–4 after-hours calls or texts
Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities:
General urology clinic
Surgical procedures in the operating room
Evaluation and treatment of kidney stones
Erectile dysfunction management
Male incontinence
Cystoscopies
Surgical assisting as needed

Procedures - Candidates should be comfortable performing:

Catheter placement
Ureteral stent placement
Cystoscopy
TURP
Ureteroscopy
Prostate biopsy
Circumcision
ESWL (Shock Wave Lithotripsy)
TURBT
Orchiopexy
Hydrocelectomy
Spermatocelectomy
GreenLight PVP
Litholapaxy

Requirements:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Active state license (or eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, if applicable)
Active BLS and ACLS
Recent clinical experience
Ability to provide case logs documenting at least 100 surgical procedures performed within the past 24 months
