Job description

This is a full-scope urology opportunity at a 122-bed acute care hospital in Longview, Washington, plus a urology clinic about a mile away, requiring both hospital and clinic privileges across inpatient and outpatient settings. The schedule is clinic Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p plus OR, with a typical month of about three clinic days, one OR day, and seven days of 24-hour call, with an admin day off in between. When on call for the week, the provider works clinic and call together (three clinic days plus one OR day); when not on call, about four clinic days plus one OR day. Call is restricted/beeper with a 10-minute return-call response time and a 30-minute radius, averaging 0-4 after-hours texts or calls. The assignment runs approximately 26 weeks as a 2 FTE need, approved through December 31, 2026, and credentialing runs approximately 90 days with fast-track possible.

The physician sees about 18 patients per day across adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Procedures include standard urology in clinic and OR - catheter and stent placement, cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy - with Da Vinci robotic experience a plus but not required. Documentation is in Epic.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Urology, with a Washington license in hand (now open to IMLC with a letter of qualification in hand), BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC), a minimum of two years of experience, and documentation of 100 procedures in the past 24 months.
