Urology Locums in Washington | 4x12s, 7 On/7 Off | Epic | Potential Perm Transition

Job description

Start: November 1, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (ongoing, open to extension)
Coverage: Scheduled shifts plus on-call
Schedule: Mon-Thu, 7:00-19:00 (4x12s); 7 on/7 off block structure
Call: On-call required, including 24-hour and night call
Volume: Approximately 15 patients per shift
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with surgical and inpatient coverage
Procedures: Wide range of urology procedures, including ureteroscopy with laser and shockwave lithotripsy

Outpatient urology evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up
Surgical case coverage across a broad urologic scope
On-call coverage including nights and 24-hour call
Timely documentation in Epic

This assignment is structured for one to two consistent providers covering a 7 on/7 off rotation for the foreseeable future while the team builds out. Candidates open to a potential transition into a permanent staff position are strongly encouraged to apply. The area is growing quickly and serves a diverse and expanding patient population.

Requirements
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Urology
Washington license or IMLC required; DEA required (open to licensure)
150 urology surgical case logs required for privileges
BLS and ACLS required
Fellowship preferred
Ability to perform ureteroscopy with laser and shockwave lithotripsy
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
