Urology Physician Locum Opportunity - Washington

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist for a locum opportunity in Washington. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with clinic and surgical responsibilities at both the hospital and affiliated urology clinic.

Location
-Washington
-Hospital and Urology Clinic (1 mile apart)
-Both hospital and clinic privileges required

Position Details
-MD/DO
-ASAP start
-Ongoing coverage needed due to gap in coverage
-Inpatient and outpatient setting
-Average 18 patients per day
-EMR: Epic
-Solo practice coverage

Schedule
7 days of unrestricted call per month

Responsibilities
-Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
-Manage kidney stones
-Treat male incontinence
-Annual follow-up/refill visits
-Perform cystoscopies
-Surgical assistance
-General urology clinic and OR procedures

-Catheter placement
-Ureteral stent placement
-Cystoscopy
-TURP
-Ureteroscopy
-Prostate biopsy
-Circumcision
-ESWL (Shock Wave Lithotripsy)
-Orchiopexy
-TURBT
-Hydrocelectomy
-Spermatocelectomy
-PVP
-Litholapaxy

Requirements
-Active Washington license preferred at presentation
-IMLC candidates accepted with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
-BLS and ACLS required
-Recent clinical activity required:

Preferred Qualifications
-Da Vinci robotic experience is a major plus, but not required

-Fast-track/urgent credentialing available
