Urology Weekend Call Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for weekend call coverage only at a hospital-based practice in WV. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for predictable weekend blocks with no clinic responsibilities.

Coverage Type: Call coverage only

Schedule: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

Clinic Coverage: None

Practice Setting: Hospital

Trauma Level: Level IV

📆 Dates Needed

May: 15–18

June: 12–15 or 19–22

July: 3–6 or 10–13 or 17–20 or 24–27

August: 14–17 or 21–24

September: 4–7 or 11–14 or 18–21

October: 9–12 or 16–19

November: Any weekend except Thanksgiving

December: 4–7 or 11–14


🏥 Clinical Details

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Patient Volume:

Friday: 1–2 patients

Saturday/Sunday: Variable, typically 5–10 consults per day

OR Needs: Occasional (stents, stones, clot evacuation, etc.)

Support Staff: No additional weekend support

✅ Requirements

Board Certification: Required

State License: WV license required or IMLC

Clean background

DEA: Required

Certifications: BLS & ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years post-training

• Ongoing for 2026
• IMLC accepted
• Level 4 trauma
