NEUROINTERVENTIONAL SURGERY NURSE PRACTITIONER

POSITION TYPE:
✓ Locum
✓ Inpatient/Hospital-Based
✓ Adult and geriatric patients only
✓ 100% inpatient

SCHEDULE:
✓ 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
✓ Day shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
✓ Night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
✓ Night shift availability required
✓ No call

RESPONSIBILITIES:
✓ Respond to code stroke situations
✓ Provide post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients
✓ Manage adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting
✓ Collaborate with the neurointerventional care team
✓ Document in Epic EMR

REQUIREMENTS:
✓ Board Certified – AANP REQUIRED
✓ Active ACLS – REQUIRED
✓ Active BLS – REQUIRED
✓ Neurocritical care nursing experience – REQUIRED
✓ Active Virginia license – PREFERRED
✓ Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues – REQUIRED

CREDENTIALING:
✓ Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 120 days
✓ Temporary privileges may be available
