Vascular Neurology Locums - 24-Hour Stroke Call in Oregon

Job description

Aya Locums is working with an established hospital-based Neurology program in Oregon seeking ongoing Vascular Neurology coverage beginning December 2026.

This is an inpatient assignment built around 24-hour unrestricted stroke call. The physician is not expected to remain in-house for the full 24 hours - they respond by phone, report onsite when clinically necessary and complete follow-up rounding the following morning as appropriate.

The Vascular Neurologist will work alongside hospitalists and other specialty teams providing stroke consultations, Neurology consultations, Neurointerventional consults and related procedural coverage. The patient population is adult and geriatric, and Epic is used for documentation.

The program includes a dedicated Neuro floor, cardiovascular/neuroscience beds and ICU support. Board certification in Neurology, recent relevant clinical activity and at least two years of experience are requested. Recent case documentation supporting the privileges being requested will also be needed.

An active Oregon license is currently required.

This is an ongoing need, and I would welcome conversations with physicians who can offer anything from intermittent call dates to more consistent recurring coverage.
