Locum Interventional/Vascular Neurologist | 24-Hour Call Only | Springfield, OR | Thrombectomy & Endovascular

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 6 months (ongoing bench need with indefinite approval)
Coverage: Interventional/vascular neurology call coverage
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7:00–7:00
Call: Unrestricted 24-hour call; report only when called in, then follow-up rounding the next morning as needed
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital with 36-bed neuro floor, 36-bed heart and vascular unit, and 36-bed ICU
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Procedures: Stroke thrombectomy, carotid stenting, diagnostic cerebral angiography, endovascular aneurysm repair, intracranial stenting, head/neck tumor embolization, subdural hematoma embolization

• Neurology consultations alongside hospitalists and other specialty teams
• Emergent neurointerventional procedures
• Documentation in Epic (proficiency required)

Requirements
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Oregon license preferred (standard credentialing available otherwise)
• ACLS required
• Case logs: neurology services in the last 24 months, and at least 200 endovascular surgical neuroradiology treatments in the past 24 months (or ACGME fellowship completed within 24 months)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
