Looking for a quick and rewarding locums assignment this summer? A hospital in Alabama is bringing on an experienced NP or PA to support their cardiovascular surgeon for a short-term, call-only role.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Rounding on post-op CV surgery patients (2–3 hours/day)
• Assisting in scheduled and emergent surgical cases
• Providing 24-hour beeper call coverage with a 30-minute response time
• No clinic responsibilities—strictly inpatient and OR support

Dates: July 2–7, 2025

What You’ll Need:
• Active Alabama license
• BLS & ACLS
• Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting (Terumo system)
• RNFA for NPs preferred but not required
• Must be confident working independently in a surgical environment

Additional Details:
• EMR: Cerner
• Bed Count: 12 in department
• Patient Volume: 3–5 per day
