Job description

Cardiac Surgery NP/PA locum opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA available. This is a hospital-based role with a consistent schedule and no call.

Schedule:
• Start: May 2026
• 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Day shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm or 9:00am – 6:30pm)
• Some weekend coverage may be required
• No call

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Cardiac surgery service (pre/post-op, ICU management, rounding, discharges)
• ~10 patients per day
• Collaborative team with APPs and surgeons
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• NP or PA
• Active CA license (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required (CALS preferred)
• 3–5 years of cardiac surgery experience

Credentialing:
• Approximately 30–60 days
