Job description

Start Date: February 1, 2026
Contract Length: 3–6 months (option to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–5p | Night Call 5p–7a | Weekend Call
Coverage: Full-time needed (must be able to offer at least one full week of M–F + call coverage)
Location: Academic/Training Facility

Job Highlights

Rounds with faculty on 5–10 ICU patients daily

Adult patient population only

Not responsible for signing in as first call

Epic EMR

Name clear required

Skills & Experience

✅ Must be proficient in first assisting for cardiovascular cases
✅ Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and CABG experience required
✅ At least 1 recent year of cardiovascular first assist experience
✅ Familiar with Epic documentation

Requirements

Board Certification required

NPs must hold RNFA certification

Active KY license required (NP or PA)

AHA certifications up to date
