Job Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum tenens opportunity in Toledo, Ohio. This hospital-based assignment provides maternity leave coverage and offers a consistent weekday schedule with **no call or weekend responsibilities**.

Position Details

* **Position:** Locum Tenens Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)
* **Location:** Toledo, Ohio
* **Assignment Duration:** July 13, 2026 – November 13, 2026
* **Coverage Reason:** Maternity Leave
* **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
* **Coverage:** 4–5 days per week
* **Call:** None
* **Weekends:** None
* **Temporary Privileges:** Available

Practice Setting

* 100% inpatient hospital-based practice
* Coverage across multiple regional hospitals, including a Level I Trauma Center
* Adult patient population
* Average of **12–15 patients per day**
* Inpatient vascular surgery management and Emergency Department consults
* Epic EMR

Responsibilities

* Evaluate and manage hospitalized vascular surgery patients
* Perform inpatient consultations and emergency department consults
* Develop treatment plans in collaboration with vascular surgeons
* Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
* Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based inpatient care

Qualifications

* Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
* Active, unrestricted Ohio NP license
* Current BLS and ACLS certifications
* Active DEA registration
* Hospital-based vascular surgery experience preferred
* Epic EMR experience preferred
