Overview:
Weatherby Healthcare is currently seeking a Board Certified General Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Gillette, Wyoming. This assignment is to provide coverage while the facility recruits a permanent placement. If you are looking for a fulfilling assignment with a great facility, this is an excellent opportunity!

Assignment Details:

Dates: April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026

Schedule: Monday – Friday, plus 1 weekend of call per month and 1 week of night call.

Clinical Scope: General Surgery, including trauma coverage and some vascular.

Patient Volume: 15 – 23 patients per day in the clinic.

Patient Demographics: Adults required; pediatric experience is preferred.

Procedures: Not required, but highly preferred.

EMR System: EPIC

Requirements:

Board Certification: Must be Certified.

Certifications: Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

License: Wyoming state license required. Client is highly motivated and willing to wait for licensing (WY PA license typically takes 4-6 weeks).

Permits: Active DEA and Controlled Substance Permit required.
