Job description

Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant locum opportunity in Torrance, CA available. This is an ongoing role with a mix of OR, inpatient, and call coverage.

Schedule:
• Day shifts (7:30a–4p)
• 2 days/week night call (6p–7a)
• Every other weekend call
• Start: June 2026
• Ongoing assignment

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Mix of inpatient rounding, OR first assist, and clinic
• 5–8 patients per shift
• Skills include vein harvesting, ECMO, IABP, Impella, EKG/X-ray interpretation
• EMR: Epic
• Support staff available

Requirements:
• Board Certified PA
• Active CA license (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• BLS & ACLS required
• Strong cardiovascular surgical experience required

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60–90 days
