The facility features a state-of-the-art cardiac surgery department with advanced technology and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular care.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Nurse Practitioner

Job Details:
• Provide advanced clinical care for cardiothoracic surgery patients with a focus on compassionate, patient-first care
• Assist in cardiac surgeries, including performing endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting when needed
• Manage ICU and cardiovascular surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluation of CVICU, floor, and clinic patients
• Participate in 2 full-day clinics weekly and see additional patients as needed on other days
• Rotate through operating room coverage Monday through Friday
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, intensivists, and healthcare professionals in a collegial, multidisciplinary environment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on patient outcomes
• Order medications and write prescriptions in compliance with regulatory policies
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate to the patient population
• Maintain 1:4-5 weekday call and 1:4-5 weekend call rotation
• Must have minimum 3+ years cardiac or cardiovascular surgery experience with ICU patient management
• Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting required
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree in Nursing
• Certification by ANCC or AANPCB required
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Active Colorado state license with full prescriptive authority and unrestricted DEA license

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
