Locums – APP Vascular Surgery (First Assist) - Columbus, OH

Contract Length: November 24, 2025 – April 2, 2026
Coverage Type: Scheduled + Call
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm | Weekend call 1:4

Work Details:

Inpatient hospital-based position at a busy Level I trauma facility (434 beds)

Team of 4 vascular PAs working 4x10-hour shifts

Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation (Fri evening–Mon morning)

Weekend duties include rounding once daily with vascular surgeon (Sat/Sun mornings)

Typical caseload: 2–6 surgeries per day and 10–20 inpatients

Procedures: vein harvesting, AV grafts, aortagrams, bypasses, angiograms, endovascular procedures, discharge orders, and rounding

EMR: Epic

Practice Setting:

Hospital / Level I Trauma Center

Requirements:

Board Certification required

Active Ohio license required

ACLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of vascular or trauma hospital experience

DEA preferred (not required)

Credentialing: Emergency privileges available
