VASCULAR SURGERY APP – LOCUM

START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Up to 6 months
SCHEDULE: Approximately 6 shifts/month
SETTING: Inpatient & Outpatient
EMR: EPIC

SCHEDULE / SHIFT OPTIONS

✓ Weekday 12-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (beeper)
✓ Weekday 24-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
✓ Weekend 24-hour call
✓ Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
✓ 7:00 AM starts require reporting for handoff and rounding

POSITION DETAILS

✓ Vascular Surgery APP
✓ Adult vascular/endovascular patients
✓ Approximately 15–20 patients per day
✓ Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
✓ Rounding and admissions
✓ First assist in the OR
✓ Assist with clinic procedures
✓ Work alongside a physician — not solo

REQUIREMENTS

✓ NP/PA with Vascular Surgery experience
✓ Active OR license preferred for immediate openings
✓ Other state licenses may be considered for later dates
✓ BLS and ACLS — AHA or ARC
✓ EPIC experience
✓ Surgical case log from the last 24 months
✓ Documentation of first, second, or third assist experience
✓ Documentation of surgical training and competency required
✓ NP candidates must provide specific First Assist training/competency documentation
